A brand new site!

Greetings everyone!

Welcome to the new website for the Mount Royal Toastmasters Club.

We've been looking for a simple way to keep our site up to date.  And by simple, we really mean simple! We're not techies or anything, but we nevertheless wanted to have a site that would shine and reflect our personality as a club.  Would that be possible?  A great-looking club website, without having to have all that technical know-how?

Just the expression says, "baby steps first", we needed to start somewhere.  That's where Alex Chan stepped in to help out.  He's from another great Toastmasters club in Montreal called the "St. Lawrence Toastmasters Club".  He introduced us to Google's Blogger platform, and here we are now with a brand spanking new website!

Alex be giving a workshop at the upcoming District 61 Toastmasters Spring Conference entitled, "Your Club Website: Create it... Revamp it... Breathe life into it!"  And fortunately for us, he chose our club as an example to show how relatively straightforward it can be to create a club website.

We look forward to seeing our website bloom, and to welcoming new guests at our club.

In fact, how about YOU come for a visit?  Looking forward to meeting you!
